Los Santos Judiciary

The LS Judiciary offers unique and rewarding roleplay for those who enjoy a challenge and long-term roleplay. For example, as a solicitor you might do everything from representing a client at the police station to being a prosecutor in high-profile court cases involving various factions and groups around Los Santos.

You can find more information by speaking to Frank, found on the first floor of the City Hall. Alternatively, you can check out the Los Santos Judiciary homepage or continue reading here for a brief overview.

Roles

Judge Antrim (L) and Solicitor Moretti (R)

Below you will find a summary of each role and occupation to help you understand how each piece in the legal system works.

Senior Judge

The Senior Judges run the Los Santos Judiciary and deal with any issues that may arise internally. They are responsible for the hiring of new Justices and hold overall responsibility for the smooth running of the court system.

Judge

The role of a judge is to interpret the law in court proceedings, they will also have the role of hiring people for the role of solicitor and carrying out sessions in court. Judges are also responsible for the flow of a trial and it’s their duty to make sure everyone involved knows what they’re doing. Judges are responsible for reviewing warrants, vehicle scraps and licence bans submitted by the police, along with any other requests that need to go through the court. It is advised to become a solicitor before attempting judgeship.

Solicitor

A solicitor is an individual who has been licensed by the court to carry out legal representation on behalf of the prosecution, or the defense. They can also act as duty solicitors in the cells, representing clients to the police after having been arrested. You can apply for the role of solicitor by walking up to our very own Frank, located on the first floor of City Hall, and filling out the short application form. Many different job opportunities are available and being a solicitor provides a rewarding experience allowing you to carve out your own path in the city. Maybe you'd prefer to be a duty solicitor in the cells, or perhaps you enjoy taking high profile cases to court or representing a large organisation. Solicitors who show themselves to excel at the job may be able to progress up the legal ladder to be judges themselves.
