The Ifrit is the primary MRAP vehicle used by Civilians on the island of Altis.

Overview

The Ifrits on Altis were leftover after the clash between NATO and CSAT forces during the Altis Civil war in 2035. Blackmarket dealers have capitalised on

  • Roles:
    • Troop transport
    • Reconnaissance

Design

The Ifrit is a reliable, all-terrain Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle designed and manufactured in Russia. The armoured hull can withstand small arms fire, Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and 40mm Grenades. The sloped undercarriage and roof are designed to deflect explosions around the vehicle.

Features

The driver sits in the front seat, in a separate section to the passengers divided up by bars and screens allowing passengers to still communicate and see the driver from the passenger compartment. This gives the driver excellent visibility due to the large windscreen, however gives very little view from the passenger compartment, instead relying on a series of low profile windows across the sides and corners of the compartment.

Notable Traits

The Ifrit is fitted with an emergency smoke generator to the rear of the vehicle, that when deployed creates a thick cloud of smoke that will obscure the view of any would-be attacker.

Mobility

With a top speed of 137km/h it is the fastest MRAP in modern use, for this reason it is specifically well suited for rapid missions requiring speed and mobility.

Crew Capacity

The Ifrit always has a seating capacity of five personnel; the driver and up to four passengers.

Variants

Civilian

    • Hex Camo
