  • Roles:
    • Recreation
    • Racing

Design

The Kart is a 4-Stroke petrol engine mounted on a sturdy chassis designed specifically to keep the driver safe. It is used for recreational racing on the islands outdoor Go Kart track. Due to it's engine offering up to 20 horsepower, it is not recommended for drivers under 18 years old.

Features

Despite the differing liveries that advertise the sponsors of the Kart, all the Karts have the same engine, weight and fuel specifications to ensure fair racing.

Notable Traits

Despite it's sturdy construction the kart is lightweight allowing drivers to pull their kart back upright allowing them to reset their kart on the track without the need for track operator intervention.

Mobility

Due to it's low centre of gravity and mass the kart can perform sharp turns and accelerate quickly when driving on paved surfaces, such as the race track, but it's low centre of gravity and low profile tyres make driving offroad difficult.

Crew Capacity

The kart has a seating capacity of one person, the driver.
